Our story...
The GCSE Maths Masterclass 🎓 was founded off the back of the 2020 UK School Lockdown...
The Founder - Ash Kibria - an Experienced Qualified Maths Teacher of 8+ years, a Seasoned Private Tutor of 10+ years & GCSE Examiner of 3+ years - understood very quickly, that those who were most affected by the school closures, were the Year 10’s.
As schools across the country were figuring out how to implement the right technology and systems to continue teaching online, the clock was ticking...
And with the ever demanding GCSE’s just around the corner, along with the uncertainty of when schools will reopen.. students were getting increasingly frustrated!
What’s more, the significant majority of UK Secondary Schools start their GCSE Maths curriculum in Year 9. This generally means that the core bulk of the unseen new content is taught in Year 10 - with Year 11 being (rightly so) the ‘revision & exam-prep’ year.
In fact, there is a very long list of topics, that would’ve been taught for the very first time during this lockdown period - for example, the majority of the Grade 7,8,9 topics!
As we spoke to various parents, the concern was that when schools finally reopen, the sheer workload will be intense and overwhelming for the new Year 11’s.
Cramming in missed content learning, revision, AND exam-prep all in the same year is a mammoth of a task for any student..
And to this end, the GCSE Maths Masterclass was created..
We started off with our Pilot Program.. The GCSE Maths Grade 7-9 Masterclass (6 Week Case-Study)
The goal: We kill two birds with one stone... MASTER High-Level Maths with a HEAVY Exam Focus.
Here, following a structured curriculum, each week a new Grade 7,8,9 topics is taught step-by-step, LIVE by a GCSE Examiner, using ONLY Real past GCSE Exam questions as examples - and focusing on only the things that matter - The marks!
We targeted a niche group of students - Y10 students who were STUCK on a Grade 6 but want to achieve a Grade 7-9 in their GCSE Maths exam...
To make the course exclusive and ensure only committed students take part - we made this an application-based education service. What resulted was a cohort of hard-working, highly motivated and extremely ambitious group of students - all striving to Achieve a Grade 7-9 (A/A*) in GCSE Maths!
The Case-study course was a a MASSIVE Success!!!

The GSCE Maths Grade 7-9 Masterclass will resume after the Summer holidays in September.
This will be a 6 Month Course covering EVERY SINGLE GRADE 7-9 TOPIC of the GCSE Maths Curriculum.
Each week, your child will MASTER a Grade 7-9 Topics with a HEAVY Exam Focus.
There will have 3 LIVE Lesson as week, with a workbook for EACH lesson, along with all resources, homework, exam questions, access to a password-protected student portal AND lesson replays - ALL PROVIDED!!!
